Our mission

Being physically active is essential for both the body and the mind. When introduced from a young age, it not only supports a healthy lifestyle but also builds lasting habits that promote long term well-being. But the benefits of sport go far beyond physical health. Through dedication, perseverance, and the desire to improve, young athletes develop crucial life skills like resilience, teamwork, discipline, the ability to learn from failure and many more. These lessons shape confident, capable individuals both on and off the field. We’ve lived this journey ourselves. We’ve felt the challenges, the triumphs, and the growth that comes from being deeply involved in sport. And that’s exactly what inspires us to create meaningful opportunities for the next generation to experience that same transformative journey.

Thibault Tieke

Co-Founder

I come from a multicultural background, being both French and German, and as a result, I speak four languages. Growing up, I travelled a lot and lived in Germany, England, and the Netherlands. I’ve always been passionate about sports—playing football, tennis, and hockey throughout my youth. I started skating when I was just three years old and began playing ice hockey at eight which I still play competitively to this day.

I’ve spent my entire playing career with the Eindhoven Kemphanen, where I captained the U23 team and won championships in U19, U23, and the Eredivisie. Alongside playing, I’ve been coaching for eight years, starting at the IJshockey School, giving private lessons with TLC Hockey Eindhoven, and training the U17 team together with Karlis.

I’m studying Psychology & Technology at Eindhoven University of Technology, which helps me combine academic knowledge of psychology with practical experience of coaching. The more I have been coaching, the more I wanted to create a camp I always dreamed of as a kid—one built on the real insights I’ve gained from being in the sport, and getting a taste of what the professional sporting world is like. I love teaching and seeing people shine when they learn new skills.

Karlis Andersons

Co-Founder

I’m originally from Latvia, where I began playing ice hockey at an early age and have continued for the past 17 years. During my final two years back home, I competed in Latvia’s top division. After moving to the Netherlands to pursue my studies in Building Physics at Eindhoven University of Technology, I remained deeply involved in hockey by joining the local team, Eindhoven Kemphanen.

In addition to playing, I’ve also been actively engaged as a trainer and coach. Over the past two years, I’ve led morning practices for the TLC program and coached both the U15 and U17 teams at Eindhoven Kemphanen. Working with these young athletes and witnessing their growth and joy on the ice has been incredibly rewarding. This experience has inspired me to create even more opportunities for kids to express themselves through the sport they love.
